## **Section C - Objectives and Activities** 

The objects of the CIO are to further or benefit persons who live, work or study in Lee Green, Lewisham and surrounding areas, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and persons and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents. 

In furtherance of these objects but not otherwise, the trustees shall have powers to establish, secure or continue the establishment of a community centre and to maintain or manage or cooperate with any statutory authority, corporation, voluntary organisation or other organisation in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects. 

## **Section D - Achievements and Performance** 

The CIO was established in 2018 with the intention of transferring the assets and operations of an existing charity to the CIO. Due to issues relating to finances and governance the Board of Trustees has indefinitely delayed this process. 

Accordingly the CIO has neither achievements nor performances. Details of the operations of the existing charity Lee Green Lives (charity number: 1141238) can be found in its own filings.

The CIO has neither income nor expenditure as all operations remain with the existing charity Lee Green Lives (charity number: 1141238).
