policy on reserves higher income than expected and the organisation is in a good position to
progress in the coming year. The building houses a 250 seater conference hall,
training rooms and 3 offices. The members and supporters of this charity raised

refunded to the respective contributors, after we successfully obtained a

Take special care when investing the funds of the charity, or borrowing

Consider getting external professional advice on all matters where

All trustees, however appointed, must act in the charity’s interests, and
must not represent the interests of any outside organisation or their own
personal interests.
Fortunately, all current Trustees are experienced and qualified professionals in
their respective fields. Therefore, trustees value professional and personal
development for both Trustees and Volunteers. New trustees and Staff,
including volunteers are given induction regarding the charity policies and

development to enhance efficiency and competencies in carrying out their
tasks and responsibilities in order to achieve the objects of the charity.
The trustees usually meet quarterly and as the need arises; to review, plan
activities and monitor progress and developments.
