KING’S LYNN LIONS CLUB – CIO 1180856

TRUSTEES MEETING 10[th] August 2023

Present: Trevor John Groom Margaret Groom Andrew Clark Eleanor Barber

It has been a year in which we have sadly lost members to illness or circumstances, but despite this we have kept the presence of King’s Lynn Lions Club in the town.

We did a street collection in October for the club and managed to collect £74.15 at the same time promoting the organisation.

Fawkes in the Walks is always an experience and we raised £1,089.75.

Father Christmas at one of the local stores made £300 which was great.

Norton Hill weekend, courtesy of Mr Schumann, gave us £8,000 which was brilliant.

Considering we are such a small club, these figures are encouraging.

We gave away donations totalling £8,297.50.

All income and expenditure is agreed by the club at each Business meeting in the presence of the Trustees. This is noted on each set of minutes from that meeting.

Agreed and signed;

Trevor John Groom

Chairman of Trustees
