governing body. the Comish Pilot Gig Associats￿ (CPGA). in January 2016 and became a
Charitable IncxiTwrated Organisalion (CIO) on 27 Nov 2018.
The Club pre8ents its sixih financial statements as a CIO for the year ended 31 De￿mber
2023. The decision was made to fomi a CIO primarity to take advantage ofthe separate
legal personality and limited Wl IAbilty. part￿￿laty for trustees.

We had a full season of regattas and ev￿. One of the
great things about gig rowtng is the varEty of events. ra￿ and adventures open to us.

Club policy is that all regattas bjenlified as apprcyiate opp)rtunitEs by the Club's
Committee, are open to our vthole membership.
Wthin this calendar. there V￿re a number of dub'prnrit￿ CPGA regattas. roughty one
a month over the spring and summer. For these. there vms a coTh￿rted efft)rt to have a
large club presen￿. wilh sL*eduied training rows and k)gistics arranged by predetemiined

Isles of Scilly* Cornwall: W(Knen's Vets placed 33 out of 44. Men's Super Vets 41st out of
42. Women's Open101st out of 122 and Men's Open 74 out of 123. Great team effort all
round.
Saturday 3rd June Regatla. We ran our (wi Regatta at ￿hmOnd. Lewes PG Club.
Affinity and Thames Barbarians attended. Congratula￿nS to Brixham on their win
Sunday 9 July Brixham: Mens and W(Knen's Crews. V in Fmal Races
Saturday 5th August Poole: Race around the Islands . Men and women's crew attended.
Saturday 9th September. Lewes. Nevthw and Affinty regatta. A ￿nnY days racing

Saturday 30th September. Svrdnage Super vets Regatta.

FINANCIAL REVIEW 2023
The Club generated income of £24,932 for the year (2022- £22.221), sold assets for £1,500
(2022- £0) and had expenditure of£28,177 (2022 - £21.484). generating a loss forthe year
of £1,745 {2022- profft of£737)
Reserves policy
The Club has continued to keep a reserve of£1,CKIO and there has FAen an agreement to
increase this in fvture as the Club's actpiities grow. The Club ￿)ntinueS to retain 3 months,
rent {£2.2501 a$ an addIt￿nal reserye to meet this financial cx)mmitment, should there be
any cashflow i%sues in the future.
Plans for the future
Th8 Club will continue to provide phys*￿1 and mental health teneffts aNJ a strong
communty abTr)sphere to its membeTr in both East and Wlest London.
