charities.
Les Cotil8 Charitable Company LBG- Is a chanty registered in Guemsey which operates
commgrciolly in order to PiOVKle chantabbe income to the communty of Guemsey. The lifeblood of
the organisab"on. its fdlues 8nd ethos are all bas&J on a shargd bel￿ that we are a resource lof the
community. The chanty accepts donakn"on8 to enabte the tharws support to be offered.
The charitys invofvement in the community covèrs a number of different projects, including..
Partnerships Les Nicollgs. Amherst Schcol and the probation 68rvice, The Pal Merriman
Peace Garden. Fooj for Families prqect and Work wrth the Chrtstian communty.
Chabad Lubavltch is dedicated to séMcirKJ Jewsh C¢)mmunrt*s by strengthening Jewish lrfe 8nd
its wonderfLs18xpèri8nces wodthn'de. Today any ￿ace thal the Jew$h People can travel to, they will
find a Chabad Off￿ and a famity of Shluchwn (emissaries of Chabadl waiting to greet thom and
offer thom their warn smih and hospilalty.

Thè trustees have considered the major ri8k8 to which the charity is oxposed and consider that those
risks have CUTrenlly been neglvJibl6. When the chority Mak￿ invesbnents then il will need to r&addres8
those risks and ensure th8t suitsble mixes ar& used and assets are cover8d by adequate Insurance.
The trustees do have a grant making policy which incorporates enguring that the institutions to which
grants org made are Suitable and Charitab￿ in their own ath"vil￿. The trustees hav8 a policy lo avoid
direct indivKaual contact with Vulnerab￿ persons and any contacl would bg wth parents, eA)aches or
t8aGher¥ present.

In lems of going concom then thè rtsk that the charity would have is that their funding could be
diminished due to the founders business impacL This has not proven to be an issue and funding ha8
continued lo be prov¢ded. Reservos were hekl to ensure that changes in cash flow will not cause any
issues to the benefickgries of the thanty.
