Though ea¢h ol the tradesmen had at timès asked lor help, I had been reluctant to glve more than the work
that I was provldlng. However, as their reallty Is no b8tter than that of the other vlllageTS, a d8*s work e8mlng
£5 or £6 only keeplng food on the table and Ihelr chlldren clothed, I had tho i(lea that thls would be the year to
help my helpers, most of them man of about forty. wlth famllles lo support. To quote Isbor, our roofer"I work
hard &vgry day lo keep my family, bul never in B lifellme S￿11 I be able to save enough to build a toilet for them..
A Gommunal tollet was provid¢d. whlch will be used by thls famlly 8nd other8.
Jamal, our s8ntt8llon man, wa3 ex8SP8rated wlth trying to k8ep h18 gafvanisos and bamboo house together
and was dreading 8nolher monsoon. Seeds of Grovrth provided the materials for him lo build wonderful
¢oncrele pillars to replace Ihe bamboo, for himself and hls famSly. My translator and constsnl helper. Ramj8m,
requested a bamboo inner ceiling for hls gafvanis8d rood. These inner ceilings are necessary for regulallng
extremes of cold and hgal. We had one n)ad¢ lo measure and fitted by a local cornpany. And. ironlcally Ihe
pump man got a pump.
other requests w8gnl long comlng once people knew I was there. and w8 started with another communal
toilet followed by six communal pumps and a roof r8p8ir. Though we usually avoid getting involvad with
medical expenses, on this occasion we agreed to pay for an operation for a roofe*s labour8r who could hardly
walk as he had three big black lumps on the sole of his foot Ajways working bare fool. he was in extrème fear
of having to stop working altogether. 'Then will look after my wifr ar)d Chrfdren7' Surgery'to remove
foreign bodies. has since been schedule and will go ahead in the coming weeks. W8 also made several small
donations to those in dire need.

Again Ihls year, pumps wère provlded in far flung village5. This entailed incre89ed auto hire over greater
distances for worksite visits., first a vlsll by Calhering and Ramjan lo check rf the project is feasible. a second
wrth the pumpman for his opinion and advice. and a fvrther mlnimum of kn Inspection visits. Like evewherg
tha price of everyittlng. Indudlng Autos. has increa8ed and whlle most traders and a few auto drlvers, who
remember previous visits and know what Seeds of Growth provides lo the needy. glvo us a special dlscounl.
Increased distances this year added an estimated £10 to £15 to the cost of each pump.
Seeds of Growth project 2025 created 216 workdays for 42 mon. We purchased our mat8rlal8 from local
8upplier8, and a$ always kept as much buslne88 Sn the local area 0$ p08slbl8.
We 8t Seeds of Growth are delightsd to hava completed our sgvenlh succ888ftJl prolect. Wè are a8 aNva
deeply gral8ful to you, our 8UPPQrters, ￿￿thOut whom our projèc18 would r￿t be po8slb16. We thank you

Thankfully, Seeds of Growth have some loyal contrlbutor8 And ￿th our regular colleGtlon box68 and donatlons
from olhgrs we have been ab19 to continue supporting the village where necessary by sendlng donation¥
Total Incomlng resources in the year werè £5,582.21 12023 £3.3921 and recousgs expended were £3.823.79
(2023 £5,194I resulting in a n81 surplus of £1,758.42 for the year (2023 £557 defl¢ltl. The nel fund reservce at
31st D&cember 2024 to cary over totalled £3,421.4212023 £1.6641.
