MILLOM PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION FINANCIAL REPORT 2024/2025 This year in spite of the rising costs Millom Pensioners have successfully negotiated the year and ended up with a positive outcome. By fixing gas and electric prices savings were made on the previous year. Water is on a meter and costs increased slightly. Hire for building use have a steady income and high standards of maintenance encouraged more usage of the hall by both members and outside groups. At the last AGM it was agreed to set aside money for speakers. £333 was raised at a coffee morning which has enabled members meetings to engage speakers who charge a fee, throughout the year. Funding has been obtained from GDF (Nuclear Waste) to install induction loop system, CCTV and audio-visual equipment. This has been a major upgrade to the premises. In the next 12 months the Association will continue to focus on increasing membership, expanding members, programme, undertaking essential maintenance and advertising the upgraded hall to potential users.
