Thornbury Volunteer Centre serves Thornbury and the surrounding area of southern Gloucestershire. Its aim is to promote, encourage and support volunteering. It operates a brokerage service between volunteer-involving organisations and individuals wishing to volunteer. It provides assistance and training for volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations.
Objects: To Promote Any Charitable Purpose (According To The Law Of England And Wales) For The Benefit Of The Community In The Area Of Benefit As The Trustees See Fit, In Particular, But Not Exclusively By The Following Means:(a) Promoting, Encouraging And Supporting Volunteering;(b) Providing Opportunities For Individuals To Volunteer;(c) Providing Assistance And Training For Volunteers
