events that aligned closely with its charitable
mission of combining music, education, and
environmental awareness. In September 2023,
OFE collaborated with composer Helen
Ottaway to record Saeflod: Requiem, a work
reflecting on human and environmental loss,
which became part of an immersive forest
installation at the Inside Out Dorset Festival. In
April 2024, OFE’s children’s musical audiobook
Dewi in the Deep was adapted into a live
performance at the Royal Opera House’s
‘Family Sundays’ series, introducing thousands
of children to themes of wildlife conservation
and sustainable living.
July 2024 marked a milestone for OFE’s Alpine
Tour, with its debut at the prestigious Gustav
Mahler Music Weeks in Toblach, Italy. The tour
featured concerts, educational workshops, and
a tree-planting initiative, further expanding
OFE’s environmental education efforts.
Performances also took place in Steinach am
Brenner, Austria, bringing classical music to
new audiences in unique outdoor settings.
In August 2024, OFE returned to the Regent’s

celebrated urban green spaces. The festival’s
closing night featured a special appearance by
Sir Karl Jenkins.
These projects reflect OFE’s commitment to

Recording of "Saeflod: Requiem" by Helen
Ottaway Part of immersive forest

OFE worked with composer Helen Ottaway
to record the musical material for her new
composition, 'Saeflod,' which she describes
as 'requiem for all our losses – human and
environmental.' The recordings were
combined with spoken word and live
performance and the work was presented
as an interactive installation in a woodland
setting at Moors Valley Country Park as
part of Inside Out Dorset Festival 2023.
April 2024:"Dewi in the Deep" performed
at Royal Opera House. The children's
musical audiobook, "Dewi in the Deep",
which OFE had created and recorded in
collaboration with The Opera Story, was
presented as a miniature children's opera
as part of the Royal Opera House's 'Family
Sundays' series. A production mixing a
recorded soundtrack by OFE with live
singers was given several performances
over two weekends to a cumulative
audience of several thousand children,
exploring topics of wildlife, climate change,
and personal responsibility for sustainable
living.
July 2024:For the sixth instalment of the
Alpine Tour, OFE was invited for the first
time to perform at the prestigious 'Gustav
Mahler Music Weeks' in Toblach (Italy),
home to Mahler's third and final composing
hut. Working with local educators, they
gave a concert in the Gustav Mahler
Concert Hall as well as a day of workshops
and activities for children mixing
technology, music and outdoor pursuits
culminating with a miniature open-air
concert and tree-planting at the composing
hut. It was both a significant increase in
profile of OFE's concerts in Toblach and
development of our education work there,
which is set to continue to expand in future
years. We also gave a concert for the third
time in Steinach am Brenner (Austria),
open air at 1400m in collaboration with the
local authority there and well received by
the local audience in a town that almost
never sees classical concerts, let alone
Mahler.| **Extended Period 1[st] Sept 2023 – 31[st] Dec 2024 3 August 2024: Regent's Park Music Festival OFE was invited back for the second year of the Regent's Park Music Festival, which we were proud to be part of founding in 2023. This year we gave two concerts in the beautiful open-air setting of the St John's Lodge Garden, celebrating urban green spaces and their importance to the wellbeing of city-dwellers. The trustees are pleased to report healthy finances at the close of December 2024 (please **Extended Period 1[st] Sept 2023 – 31[st] Dec 2024 4 |||refer to accounts below for full detail). Net
assets for 2023/24 ended**£22,598.59.**OFE
trustees are proud of the charity’s events and
alignment of charitable capital to our objects,
and look forward to continue scaling in a similar
vein against the charity’s aims and objects. The
trustees would like to give special credit to John
Warner, Artistic Director, for his high-impact role
directly raising funds and spear-heading events
which have themselves brought in substantial

As a CIO, Orchestra for the Earth (OFE) holds a

holds PayPal and Stripe accounts for processing
some donations.
OFE maintains a cash box for in-person box office
