Trustees’ Report
About Us
A2z Renewable Development Trust is an organisation which aims to encourage communities, young people and families about the importance of sustainability and implementing renewable forms of energy and basic life skills. We aim to inspire, and empower the youths to create positive change in their lives, and the communities they live in. Our program will engage the communities, schools, organisations, peer groups, and families in a productive and constructive manner.

At a2zrdt our vision is to empower young people and families in the community from an early stage to guide them so they can reach their full potential with the aid of using, STEM and Renewable energy technology.
Our Mission
Our grand mission is to connect young people and communities with opportunities and transform their lives. We will lead the younger generation by training them about sustainable development, harnessing our energy in a more efficient. We also aim to build partnership and projects which empower women, families and parents.
Integrating an early intervention to young people, some of the advantages are avoiding circumstance, such as our youths been idle, joining gangs, knife crime and early pregnancies.

Trustees’ Report Local Communities & Public Benefits
In setting out and planning projects, programs and activities for our local communities, the trustees have used and implemented the general guidelines published by the Charity commission relating to the Public benefit of the Charities Act 2011.
The Charity’s principal activities, achievements, and performance are summarized below:

I. We are working to get a building where we can safely lockup equipment’s, our communities can use computers to learn and develop themselves for various reasons such as assisting in job applications, coffee mornings, directing them to the right services if they require assistance, bridging the cultural divide, promoting awareness with the Green bee assembly in conjunction with Manchester City Council and the Coop to deliver awareness to schools in Greater Manchester in regards to our CO2 emissions and carbon foot prints.

II. We had a successful cooking class the previous year, which our local high schools and primary school attended. They learnt various skills such as preparing a simple healthy quick meal, hazards in the kitchen; they learnt how to follow directions and steps in a timely manner. They also learnt to explore their senses, expand their palate, making healthy choices, also basic math skills through measuring ingredients, science and how ingredients mix together and also sharing good conversation.

III. We also had a successful cultural food appropriate parcels which we got support from the BAME community. We identified struggling families and customised a food parcel package that meets their cultural background.

IV. We are hoping to secure funding this year to relieve needs of young people by providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
Objectives and Activities:
Our main objective is to have Climate Champions, connect with excluded / disadvantage young people with opportunities and transforming their lives.
Some of our objectives and activities we accomplished were:
Activities aims:
To introduce the community about the effects and awareness of climate change. Encourage Sustainability and the implementation of different forms of renewable energy. To encourage creativity and experimentation.
To promote teamwork and social skills through group activities.
Objectives:
To teach young minds as well as the communities as a whole about Carbon foot prints, C02 emissions, self-development, sustainability and equipping them with knowledge and

understating of the need to look after our environment, to ensure a clean green earth, with as much understanding about our waste and pollutions. Also women empowerment workshops, coffee mornings, bridging the language barrier gaps, workshops to help with referral services and various workshops to bring the community together.
Volunteers
We are extremely proud of our staffs & volunteers, they contributed their unique talents and perspective effortlessly to the workshops, in making sure all participating children, young adult, parents and guardians engaged and involved with all projects carried out, such as during our cooking classes:

Assisting with preparation: Our volunteers helped with prepping ingredients, setting up equipment, and organizing the kitchen before the class begins. This saved time and ensured that the class ran smoothly.

Providing supervision: Our volunteers helped supervise children while they were using kitchen equipment and tools to ensure that they are being used safely and appropriately.

Offering support: Volunteers provided encouragement and support to the children as they learnt new skills and tried new foods. Overall, our volunteers played an essential role in making cooking classes for kids successful by providing their time, skills, and enthusiasm for cooking.
Our Strategic Goals
In 2025/2026, we aim to achieve 3 key strategic goals, which include:

i. Climate change a major issue globally, Increase Awareness & Knowledge about Climate change, our carbon foot-prints & CO2 emissions.

ii. Provide a space to build strong local relationships partnerships and to also access help and advice a friendly service user environment.

iii. Providing support and mentorship to promote digital inclusion for women

iv. To work in partnership with other organisations, providing resources and opportunities for children, young people and families
Reserve Policy
The trustees take a risk based approach to identify the appropriate levels of reserves that are required. We have no reserves at the moment

Accountants' report to the directors of A2Z Renewable Development Trust
You consider that the company is exempt from an audit for the year ended 31 May 2025. You have acknowledged, on the balance sheet, your responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. These responsibilities include preparing accounts that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company at the end of the financial year and of its profit or loss for the financial year.
In accordance with your instructions, we have prepared the accounts which comprise the Profit and Loss Account and the Balance Sheet from the accounting records of the company and on the basis of information and explanations you have given to us.
