Community Workshops:
We contnued to organise music
workshops with Song School and
Northwick Academy tailored to children,
focusing on both instrumental and vocal
development. The result of these
workshops encouraged engagement
with the Feelgood Project run in
partnership with Song School which
culminated in a song and video writen
and performed by the children which has
been published on YouTube and Spotfy

School Partnerships:
Through partnership with the Aurora
Orchestra we delivered performances
bringing Classical music to pupils at
Southend schools for children with
Special Educatonal Needs.

Performance Opportunites: Young
musicians supported by our Bursary
programmes partcipated in several Song
School open-mic nights, held at
community venues and theatres. These
events fostered confdence and
showcased the diversity of talent
nurtured by Ewan’s Music.

Mentoringand Career Support: We have| |||supported an applicaton by The Song
School to the Youth Music Foundaton
for funding for a mentoring
apprentceship scheme, matching
experienced musicians and educators
with students. The programme will
provide support for young musicians as
they embark on their frst performances
and provide advice and guidance on
their engagement with the music
industry as they try to build a career.

The charity has donated Ewan’s drum kit
to his old school Westclif High School
for Boys and reached an agreement to
inaugurate an annual music award for
achievement.

Accessibility Initatves: In a commitment
to inclusivity, we ofered subsidised
lessons for low-income families and
adapted sessions for partcipants with
special educatonal needs. Children at
Northwick Academy contnued to
receive funded tuiton and the charity
supported the Rock Band in a day at the
recording studios.
Our long-term commitment to BOSP
(Bright Opportunites for Special People)
has contnued and the Music Therapy
sessions are well atended and enjoyed

The Charity benefted from the
dedicaton of actve volunteers,
partcularly around fundraising. We
owe a tremendous debt of grattude to
several volunteer supporters:
A Trustee and 6 friends raised £6k
walking the Jurassic Coast; a teacher at
Northwick and friend of Ewan
completed the London Marathon
raising £1600; the contnued support of
family friends with their annual BBQ;
and regular charitable donatons from
longstanding supporters and numerous
