|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole|Para 1.20|During the year ending January 31 2021.<br>Several significant achievements were<br>made;<br>•<br>Simplex locomotive has been<br>rerailed and mostly reassembled.<br>•<br>Café, Mess Room etc has been<br>completed and installed at The Old<br>Peatworks. Awaiting final<br>completion and sign off by building<br>inspectors.<br>•<br>Planning permission obtained to lay<br>a further 400m of rail track. This will<br>be laid during 2021.<br>•<br>The Lisbon Tram has been<br>acquired using grant funding from<br>the SSE Keadby Wind Far<br>Community Fund. The tram was<br>delivered in 2020 and will be<br>refurbished during 2021-22.<br>•<br>2 successful weekends of open<br>days held as part of the Heritage<br>Open Days in September 2020.<br>These were held with Covid-19<br>precautions in place.<br>•<br>A number of on-line presentations<br>were made during the year to<br>interested organisations including<br>the IMechE Railways branch.|
