Review of Trust's activities

The activities of the Wokingham Lions Club were adversely impacted by COVID-19 which resulted in a number of events being cancelled, including the annual Wokingham May Fayre which is our primary fundraising event for the year.

Donations to good causes were made on the recommendation of the Community Services Committee and were approved by Club members. The notes to the Accounts contain a list of charitable donations made by the Club.

Financial Report

The Accounts for the year show an income of £24,726 and expenditure of £19,650 resulting in a surplus of £5,077 for the year. The activities of the Club continued to be reduced during the year due to COVID-19.

The Balance Sheet shows a healthy reserve level of £21,933. This level of reserves is at a good level to support our activities for the coming year.
