Chester Visual Arts co-ordinates visual art activities, putting on programmes of local, national and international events, exhibitions and public activities. It aims to provide a permanent public visual arts gallery in the City of Chester for the benefit and education of the wider and visiting public of the North West region.

Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are Specifically Restricted To The Following To The Advancement Of Education In The Arts For The Benefit Of The Public (without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing) By:1.1.1 Co-Ordinating Visual Arts Activities;1.1.2 Putting On Programmes Of Local, National And International Events, Exhibitions And Public Activities; And1.1.3 Providing And Enabling A Permanent Visual Arts Gallery For The City Of Chester.this Provision May Be Amended By Special Resolution But Only With The Prior Written Consent Of The Commission.
