Ll AL WARRINGTON LIONS CLUB CIO TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT 2022123 We are part of the Lions Club International and at present we have 20 members. Our purpose is to raise funds to help with local charities and activitRes in our area. Most of the income has been generated by Father Xmas and his skigh which we take out most nights in Dttember, we drive around local streets agreed by the police and members and volunteers collect money in buckets which is counted and banked the next day. We mana%ed to raise £11,678. and with the balance (irried forward total expenditure for the year was £17341.23 One of the eharities helped was 4Helping Hands, who we contributed £4400 towards purchasing a van so that they could deliver food parcels to those who needed them due to Covid restrictions which were gladfulty rcceivcd by people in need. Our intention is to carry on ay we are and raise funds to support our local area needs events and activities. The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees, report above.
