## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

Hand of God Ministries, Manchester UK. is constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in accordance with its governing document. 

- Trustees are appointed in line with the constitution. 

- The Trustees meet regularly to oversee ministry direction, finances, safeguarding, and legal compliance. 

- Policies are maintained for safeguarding, health & safety, financial stewardship, and volunteer management. 

- Annual risk assessments ensure the safe delivery of all church activities. 

The Trustees confirm they have complied with the Charities Act 2011 requirement to consider the Commission’s guidance on public benefit. 



## **Objectives and Activities** 

## The Church exists to: 

- Advance the Christian faith through worship, preaching, and teaching. 

- Nurture believers through discipleship and pastoral care. 

- Provide opportunities for youth and children’s development. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

## **Worship & Preaching** 

- Weekly Sunday services, both in-person and online. 

- Mid-week services and Friday prayer meetings 

## **Teaching & Discipleship** 

- Bible study groups, discipleship pathways, and leadership training supported spiritual growth. 

## **Youth & Children’s Ministry** 

- Youth groups provided a safe and faith-filled environment. 

- Sunday School expanded with new resources and activities. 

## **Community Outreach** 

- Various Community support programs 

- Pastoral teams provided care through hospital visits, prayer support, and bereavement ministry. 

## **Financial Review** 

- **Income:** £34,343 

- **Expenditure:** £37,696 

- The main sources of income were tithes, offerings, donations, and fundraising activities. 

- Funds were applied primarily to ministry activities, community programs, and maintaining church facilities. 

- The Trustees aim to maintain reserves equivalent to 3 months of operating costs. 



The church remains financially stable, with resources carefully managed to maximize ministry impact. 

## **Plans for the Future** 

Looking ahead, the Trustees intend to: 

- Expand on community outreach programs including litter picking 

- Improve community cohesion programs

_I report on the accounts of the trust for the period ended 31 December 2024 which are set out on pages 3 & 4_ 

## _**Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiners**_ 

_The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:_ 

- _Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act_ 

- _Follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the commission under section 145 (5) (b) of the 2011 Act_ 

- _State whether particular matters have come to my attention_ 

## _**Basis of Independent Examiner’s report**_ 

_My examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently we do not express any audit opinion on the view given by the accounts._ 

## _**Independent Examiner’s statement**_ 

_In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:_ 

- _(1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:_ 

   - _to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act_ 

- _and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the_ 

- _accounting requirements of the 2011 Act have not been met or_ 

_(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached_

## **NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024** 

## 1 **Accounting Policies** 

These accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 

## 2 **Payments to Trustees** 

The Trustees received no remuneration, direct or indirect benefits from the charity 

Out of pocket Expenses in respect of Postage and Stationery, Catering and Training and office equipment are refunded to trustees and staff 

## 3 **Tangible Assets** 

There are various Fixtures and furniture that are in good working condition 

## 4 **Going Concern** 

The accounts are prepared on a going concern basis. 

## **5 MATERIAL GRANTS** 

There were no Material Grants during the period 

## **6 CHANGE OF NAME** 

During the year 2022, the Trustees agreed to change the Charity's name from Omega Fire Ministries Manchester to HAND OF GOD MINISTRIES, MANCHESTER UK as the new name reflects the Charity's object better
