The trustees are appointed by the trustees of the charity. The trustees ensure that the trustees are Christians with a passion for outreach amongst sports fans and have experience of conducting Christian outreach. New trustees are given a copy of the charity’s constitution, its latest trustees’ annual report and accounts and a copy of the charity’s safeguarding policy. ## **Objectives and activities** The purpose of the charity is: “to advance the Christian faith in God for the benefit of the public. To raise awareness and understanding of the Christian religion, by means of broadcasting Christian messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature. To advance the Christian religion specifically at sporting events around the United Kingdom for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures and by producing and/or distributing literature on Christianity to enlighten others about the Christian religion. To help develop their spirituality, including strengthening their relationship with God as well as provide a moral and ethical framework to live by”. The trustees have considered the general guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. The charity benefits the public by raising awareness and understanding of the Christian faith. It does this by teaching about the Christian faith outside sporting events, providing information about the Christian faith to people as they pass by on their way to sporting events and providing pastoral care to people attending, or working at, those events. The public benefits from these activities are: - Those who come to know and continue in the love of God report that accepting the love of God in Jesus Christ is the best decision they ever made and knowing this love gives them strength in their everyday life; - Through the promotion of a moral framework; - It is for the public good that the main beliefs of the Christian faith are made known as this enables people to make informed choices concerning religious belief and contributes to a free society where different ideas and beliefs are widely known by the public. ## **Achievements and performance** In 2022 the charity promoted and attended outreach activities at a number of sporting events. ## **Financial review** The results for the year were satisfactory.
