Annual Report and Accounts for Sylvester Community Trust (CIO) Charity No: 1180581 2020 - 2021
The majority of the charities’ activities have been on hold due to the Covid-19 lock down. Our negotiations with Stoke on Trent Council to secure a plot of land on Oxford Road, Fegg Hays on a 25 year and one day lease is at an advanced stage and we are finalising the Head of Terms on the lease.
The BBC’s DIY SOS initiative was put on hold due to the Covid 19 pandemic; however, we have been advised the team will be on site in October 2021. We have drawn down funds from the Capital Investment Fund grant we were allocated for the Growing Field Project. These monies will be used to supplement the investment we are receiving in kind from the BBC and their partner agencies.
