The trustees present the report and financial statements for the year ended 30[th] June 2021.

Objectives and Activities

The charity’s stated objectives include the provision of community and environmental services as well as to enhance international relations. Health activities include hearing, sight, mental health and general wellbeing awareness and promotion.

The trustees have considered the Charity Commission’s guidance of public benefit in planning the charity’s activities for the year.

Achievements and Performance

During the year ending June 2021, the charity has continued to provide awareness about health activities and community and environmental services. Along with other charities during the COVID pandemic raising funds through our normal activities has proved very difficult. Our normal fund raising activities have been curtailed due top the COVID regulations, but our community based activities have been able to continue i.e. Tree of Light, Christmas Trees.

The club has continued its support with the rollout of the vaccine programme and supporting the local food bank at this very difficult time. The trustees consider the performance of the Charity has been satisfactory during the year.

Financial Review and Reserves

The charity’s primary source of income is raised from community based activities along with donations received for service activities, such as supporting other local events.

The charity supports a number of locally based groups and individuals through donations this along with its commitments to both National and International Lions initiatives.
