bookings weie £1,000 lower Ihon the previous year, but appear stoble, with the
highligh15 being the Table Tennis group and the Arls Class. In the Regular V￿lIage
events, Open Gardens improved Signif￿anNY over 2024, and Ihe Marathon and
Duck Race both held Iheir own.
The main boost wos in the One Off events whrh were lilled by a gift from o
generous donor. an excellent legocy from Joan Knott. a generovs gift trom the Safari
Supper leam. and the bor income Irom 0 5ere5 of short Evening Talks given by
Var￿U$ speakers. In all. One Off income rose t)y almost £6,0(J) lo give £/.000
Following on from the major mainlenonce expendilures of 2024 we have this yeor
collected the grants Ihol were due from Dorset Council so overoll development cost
this yeor wos in locl an income. The boorded oreos orovnd the doors were replaced
cosl effecliveW by the elf¢Yts of volunteers ond the Small Works cost cotegory.
Running Costs lor 2025 were held al the level OF lost yeof despite 0 20% rlse in both
Electricity ond Gas bilts.11 seems thol we arc vnable to get permission to lil Solar PaneLs on
the rool In ordef lo keep Ihe costs down. Neverlheless, careful manogemenl hos kepl the
