||We provided out of school sessions to children and young people from<br>deprived communities in the UK and aim to build their confidence, self-<br>esteem, self-worth and aspirations so that they can become responsible<br>and fulfilled members of society.<br>We delivered financial literacy classes, arts and crafts initiatives, leisure<br>activities, coaching and mentoring programmes including trips to notable<br>companies to boast confidence whilst providing opportunities to explore<br>different career options.<br>We organised arts and crafts sessions in the UK for children and young<br>people in care.<br>Internationally we provided children and young people in deprived<br>communities with essential (educational and healthcare) supplies needed<br>so that they can attend local primary and secondary schools in their<br>communities, improve school attendance and raise educational<br>attainment.<br>We delivered business training to young widows with children and young<br>women in vocational trades with a small grant to buy essential business<br>equipment.<br>The Trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity<br>Commission on public benefit.|

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

Since 2020, the Charity has distributed over 2500 sanitary packs to female students in major examination classes. Over 100 widows’ children benefited from the Dare to Achieve Back to School packages. 

We delivered specialised workshops to build the skill capacity of 150 young widows with children and young women in vocational trades to enable them run profitable small-scale enterprises. 

The beneficiaries determined the language of delivery for the training sessions and we were able to successfully deliver the session in the chosen languages (Yoruba and English). Mentors provided beneficiaries with practical advice and information tailored to each individual’s business needs. 

50 Looked after children were supported through educational and personal development training.
