Lindsey u3a constitution was amended as recommended by the Third Age Trust and
was formally adopted on 3rd March 2020.
It was registered as a Chartty on 5 November 2018.

The Object of the u3a is:_
The advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people and those
who are retired from full time work in Lindsey and its surrounding local ity. by all means
including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development.

Subscriptions were set at a levd design&J to cover our njnning costs. The financial
statements that f￿1￿ sh<y44 a surplus on general funds of £4.315.73.
Report for the year
Our membership numbered 279 at 31st December 2025. We cx)ntinued to attrad
members both locally and from other u3a's. Afthough we lost SO￿ groups, they
were replaced with new and inrnvatibe ones. Members appear to enjoy their
membership and encourage others to join. Attendan<x at the monthly meetings has
increased wth Speakers who have been well received. Tlw are Nn with a very
welcoming and friendly style.

We encourage groups to advertise for more members and lo increase our
activities by introduang ntrw groups. Membership is growiTrJ many individua18
volunteer to give assistan￿ in some way for the general benefft of Lbndsey u3a. We
will continue to have excellent speakers ai mnthly ma￿1r￿j$ amd we are lo hold
SOa81 events to ena>ur8ge thosavIt￿ help the oroanisation to continue to flourish.
