Trustees: 

Mr Tom Hesling (President), Mr Andrew Davies (Secretary), Mr Kevin Chalk (Treasurer), Mr Stewart Bartram, Mr James D Jackson and Mrs Susan Drayson. 

The Constitution of the Club was passed on 16[th] May 2018. Trustees will always include the President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Club. 

The purpose of the Charity is to take an active interest in the welfare of the local community and provide support where possible.  The charity will also be mindful of international disasters and support them appropriately to the limit of 10% of annual income; primarily through the Lions Club International Foundation. 

Funds were raised from a stall at Wickersley Christmas Lights Switch On, static and street sleigh collections, coconut shy and skittle alley at local fetes and events, plus various donations from local businesses and private individuals. 

The Charity Trustees have delivered support to the local community, and the wider world, having due regard that aid provided will be for the public good, is non-discriminatory, and is for the benefit of all. 

Whilst activities were limited, the Charity has continued to make donations to individuals and groups. Donations have been made to improve the living conditions of local residents with health issues and to address poverty.  Support has been provided to local primary and secondary schools, including bursaries. The Charity also supported a regional Sports Day for both children and adults with disabilities. In line with the Charity’s policy on international support, donations were made to support international disasters. 

There must always be sufficient funds in the bank to cover the rent for a year on a garage, that is essential for storage of Club equipment. Currently this amounts to £388. 

The Charity Trustees have complied with their duties to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission, in exercising their powers and duties.
