NEWCASTLE UNDER LYME LIONS CLUB (CIO) rt for accounts 2023-24 The club membership has declined during the last year, with a resulting drop in the Adtninistration fund incon]e, though there was St a bealthy balance ai the end of the financial period. Gift Aid and other income helped EO produce an Increase in funds held at the end of the fancial period. The Chari(ies fund receipts weTe significandy increased through support received for our fIt ProsL4te screening event in Sepiember 2023. Most other events produced similar results to the prevlous year. Charitable donation were significandy reduced as there were fewer requests received for financial assistance. The major outgoing was for the Prosle screenin8 event, which was a major success with 264 tests carried OUL resulting in 13 men being advised to get further checks. The published figures show that in spite of having fewer members, we have continued our mission to raise funds and distribute those for the benefiL principally of local individuals, group5 and organisauons.
