NEWCASTLE UNDER LYME LIONS CLUB (CIO) Registered Charity Number 1180531 Trustees Re ort for accounts 2022123 The effects of the Pandemic are still considerable upon the workings of the Club. There are fewer club members and events involving the public have still failed to recover to the support received pra-Pandemic. Fewer members has resulted on the figures for members own funds showing a slight decrease, though thera was a still a healthy balan￿ at the end of the financial year. The charitable funds receipts were slightly lowar than the previous year, as we were not in re￿Ipt of any funds from the Co-op Charity fund this year, but there was still a healthy income from the events in which we participated. The significant inuease in Charity payments reflects the donations made in the Autumn of 2022 from funds raised in the previous financial year. The published figures show that we have continued our mission to raise funds and distribute those for the benefit, principally. of local groups and organisations.
