## **3. Objectives and Activities**

The objects of the charity are the prevention or relief of poverty. Spark of Hope was established to:

- Make food available for underprivileged children and their families

- Support struggling institutional orphanages to become stable, loving, and nurturing homes

- Establish healthcare and education programmes to support children and their families

- Train women to provide care within the community

During the financial year, the charity had very limited activity and was largely dormant due to limited funding and resources.

## **6. Reserves Policy**

The charity holds minimal reserves. Funds are retained to meet basic administrative costs and to support future charitable activities when circumstances permit.

## **7. Public Benefit Statement**

The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and confirm that the charity’s activities and objectives are carried out for the public benefit.
