## **Chairman’s Report** 

## **30[th] October, 2025** 

The current trustees are Eleanor Sapwell **,** Danielle Young, and Maxime Marsh **.** The current WhatsApp committee consists of Eleanor Sapwell **,** Danielle Young **,** Maxime Marsh **,** Georgie Donaghy **,** Jenny Letts **,** Julie-Anne Newton **,** Lindsey McCaffrey, and Jo Bull **.** 

This year’s fundraising activities have been a tremendous success. Together, we’ve cooked over 200 pancakes and 80 breakfasts, transformed ourselves into a human fruit machine, run tombolas, and served an impressive 500 ice creams. A huge thank-you to everyone who contributed their time and energy to make these events so successful. 

At the end of May, the new trim trail was installed, featuring monkey bars **,** a wobble bridge **,** stepping stones, a balance beam **,** seesaw **,** Tarzan traverse **,** log rope, and a walk and stretch **section** . It’s been wonderful to see it so well used and enjoyed over the summer months. 

As always, please continue to keep an eye on the playground and let us know of any maintenance needs. We’ll also be arranging a painting day soon—your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

## **Treasurer’s Report** 

## **30[th] October 2025** 

## The total income for the period **1st November 2024 to 31st October 2025** was **£2,547.66** . 

This year, we hosted two successful fundraising events at **The Reading Room** — a **Breakfast** in February and a **Pancake Parlour** in March. The Breakfast event raised **£519.45** , while the Pancake Parlour saw us cook over **200 pancakes** , serve **83 guests** , and achieve a profit of **£663.31** . Beyond the financial success, it was truly heartwarming to witness the sense of community these events foster — particularly among residents who may not usually attend other village gatherings. 

Our sincere thanks go to **Chris Feasey** for generously donating a hamper full of goodies, which we raffled at both events, adding to the fun and fundraising totals. 




In May, we joined forces for the **Car Rally** held at the Playing Field, raising a further **£1,019.67** . A huge thank-you to everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this another great success. 

Also in May, the **new trim trail** was installed at a total cost of **£14,991.10** . A CIF grant from MK Council covered half of this amount, with the remaining balance donated by us to the **Parish Council** , enabling the purchase on behalf of the village. 

Lastly, **paint was purchased** to give the existing goalposts a much-needed freshen-up. Our total expenditure for the year, therefore, is £7834.81. 

The total loss for the year was £5287.15. This leaves us with a current account balance as of 1[st] November, 2025, of £7283.98
