There was a good display of wild flowers over the summer of 2024 and the regular cutting back is starting to reduce the invasive plants with an increasing variety of wild flowers appearing.  Once they had gone to seed in the autumn, the site was cut back. This was carried out with the assistance of Kent Wildlife Trust warden and volunteers. 

This year we plan to do an early summer cut which will hopefully stop the more invasive species from taking hold over the spring/summre, giving space for wild flowers to thrive. 

We will continue with annual cutting of regrowth and monitor of progress. The advice and assistance of the local Kent Wildlife team has been invaluable and we hope to continue working with them in the future. 

The Trust has not accumulated any funds during this financial year and there has been no expenditure.
