## **Annual report and return: April 2025 - April 2026**
Activity for the year 2025 TO 2026 has again been muted. However, some activities were able to take place, including a film, talk, and artist Q & A as part of the 2025 Fear In the Fens Festival. Downham Market Arts contributed a £275 grant to this event, which was successful and very positively received by the audience.
Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in securing funding from the Norfolk County Council’s “Love Your Market Town” fund. We were also unsuccessful in applying for a grant from the National Archives Communities Fund.
However, we have been successful in securing financial support from Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk to manage a series of events in conjunction with CULTure Babylon throughout October 2026. As of April 2026 We are waiting to receive a grant of £3,000.
## **INCOME**
No income was received during 2025 – 26.
## **EXPENDITURE**
A £275 grant was given to CULTure Babylon to run an event as part of the annual Fear in the Fens Film Festival 2025.
## **CASH**
The charity has sufficient funding in hand to deliver a programme of activities in 2025 - 26
## **FUTURE**
We have been successful in securing financial support from Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk (BCKLWN) to manage a series of events in conjunction with CULTure Babylon throughout October 2026. As of April 2026 We are waiting to receive a grant of £3,000 from BCKLWN.

Downham Market Arts is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registration number 1180470, which was founded on the 29[th of] October 2018.
## **OBJECTIVES and AIMS.**
Downham Market Arts Association was founded for the promotion of the arts for the public benefit in Downham Market and the surrounding area, by organising and presenting a wide range of events to facilitate artistic activity; to include dance, drama, literature, music, and the visual arts.
## **ACHIEVMENT and PERFORMANCE**
The Association provides a range of performances inclusive of dance storytelling and therapeutic arts.
## **STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE and MANAGEMNT**
- 1.) The charity is governed by a CIO foundation document dated the
- 29[th of] October 2018.
- 2.) The governance of the charity as well as its day-to-day management is undertaken by the charity trustees.
## **Charity Trustees**
All trustees were appointed on 28th October 2018 and remain in situ, apart from Jacqueline D Westrop, who died on 17[th] February 2025.
