## **ANNUAL  REPORT 2023 -2024** 

1. Downham Market Arts  (DMA) has  the  objective  of  promoting facilitating and  delivering theatre and  arts related events  to  people within  the  area  of  Downham Market 

2. The  charity has  operated with  due  regard  to  public benefit requirements of  the  charity 

3. The  trustees  remain  the  same  as  in  the  period 2022 - 23 

4. Those  trustees being Jacqueline  D Westrop Christine Pike Chris Lewis  and  Gillian Trickett 

5. The  charity  delivered four  events  in  the  year  reaching a  wide age range ( 5  85 years  of  age ) through these  events all of  which were  different targeting  different age  groups  by  delivering events of  different genres 

6. The  charity did not  deliver any more  events  due  to  the  ill  health of the  trustees and difficulties  in  recruiting  volunteers 

7. The  charity did not receive  or  allocate any funds  outside  the  UK 

8. The charity reserve  policy states  that  there should be  three  month operating  costs in  reserve 



9. Income  during  the  period  was raised solely from  events  and refreshment  sales There  was  no  grant income  or  income  from any  statutory  body 

10. Income  during  the  year  amounted to £480 and  expenditure 

£625 

11. The  closing  balance  at  the  end of  the  year  October  2023 was  £2,024.00 

12. This  report  was  approved  May  2024 by  the  Board  of Trustees
