A small percentage of our funds is sent to Lions clubs International who use contributions from around the world to fund crisis and humanitarian aid in the aftermath of major disasters. |

This year is the first year when for part of it we have been able to hold some of our traditional fund raising events such as our quiz nights, car show, donkey derby and our Christmas collection following the Covid pandemic. To supplement these events, we have retained some of our pandemic strategies such as the local lottery, grant applications and a just giving page on our website. |

Para 1.20 | During this financial year we have made local grants totalling £3,282 to 6 local families who we have given emergency help in the form of providing furniture or appliances, and small local charities so they can expand their activities within our borough. We have also contributed £1,233 to our local Lions Zone projects, supplying computers to schools and funding our Funfest event which is a free day out for families with disabled children. We have also given £1092 to our International fund, specifically to the Ukraine appeal. |
