The objects of this charity is to raise funds to help individuals in need, and to aid and facilitate youth and children‘s groups, seniors and health care groups and service organisations in the local region. Also, under the direction and request of Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) to raise funds for International disaster relief and to provide medical and educational aid to global communities in need.

Lyn Lions Club has raised funds primarily through raffle draws and tombola stalls at local public celebratory events. The collection of donations made by the public to their wishing well and its gardens in Lynmouth.

Funds raised have been donated to the North Devon Hospice; the Children’s Hospice SW; the district women’s refuge; the local branch of the Royal British Legion; LCIF international flood disaster relief campaigns in India, Indonesia, and Japan; Lynmouth Memorial Hall gardens refurbishment; a bore-well water pump for a village in Kenya; a village school in Nepal; the Lynton Children’s Christmas party.
