# **TRUSTEES REPORT FOR THE SIXTH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF RYDE LIONS CLUB (CIO) TO BE HELD ON 14[TH] JANUARY 2025.** 

**The Trustees present their report to the Annual General Meeting of IOW (Ryde) Lions Club (CIO).** 

The Trustees confirm that during the year IOW (Ryde) Lions Club has fulfilled the objects as defined by the governing Trust Deed, being the objects of Lions Clubs International. 

The club’s fundraising included the Christmas collection and stalls at Aspire Christmas Market, Bembridge Street Fair, and the Highland Gathering, and Sunday teas where films were shown. The club also received donations from the 250 Club and in memory of a deceased member. 

The club has been able to make donations to local and international projects which include the Lions project for young students, the local pop-up kitchen, the Girls Brigade, St Mary’s children’s garden and Aspire. 

Members have also been active in the community, including marshalling Walk the Wight and Splash and Dash.
