THE AIMS OF THE PLAYGROUP ARE TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN PRIMARILY UNDER STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE BY ENCOURAGING PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND AND PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP.

Objects: The Aims Of The Playgroup Are To Enhance The Development And Education Of Children Primarily Under Statutory School Age By Encouraging Parents To Understand And Provide For The Needs Of Their Children Through Community Playgroups And By:a) Offering Appropriate Play, Education, Care Facilities And Family Learning For Children. Encouraging Parents To Take Responsibility For And To Become Involved In The Activities. To Recognise And Falue Such Parental Involvement, Offering Help, Advice And Support Where Necessary.b) Ensuring The Playgroups Offers Opportunities For All Children Whatever Their Race, Culture, Religion, Means Or Ability.c) Providing Opportunities For Every Child To Develop Their Physical And Social Skills In A Safe Environment. Ensuring The Facilities Are Available To Enhance The Child's Self-Confidence.d) Encouraging The Study Of The Needs Of Children And Their Families And Promoting Public Interest In And Recognition Of Such Needs In The Local Areas.
