TRUSTEES REPORT Y5GOL FEITHRIN CONWY CHARITY NUMBER 1180173 The Committee of Ysgol Feithrin Conwy present the Annual Report and Audited Accounts for the year ending 0310412024. We a a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. OUR AW. The playgroup provldes learning opportuntties and care for preschool children aged between 2 and 4yrs of age. We provide the Iohrs Early year5 education tthase for 3yr olds. This session is between 8.40am to 11.10am. We also orovide care from 11.10 to 3.1(4)m with children crossing overfrom the earliersession. We also dothe 20hr childcare fundlng which working parents may qualify for. Some children do lunch club and they are taken to school for Ipm. We collect children from school at 11.30am and look after them till 3.10pm. We are situated on a School site in Conwy. We are dassed as an all day setting. We open tem time onfy. We are a memberof Early years Wales. In September 2023 we became a member of Hyin8 Start so children aged between 2 and 3yrs who live in a Flwng Start post code could benefit from up to 12.5hrs of thildcare free. OUR OBJEcnvES Our staff promote learning through play and children are continuallv observed and assessed to make sure they reach their full potential. A good environment encourdges children to feel safe and play, to feel relaxed and happy. We are still waiting for new premises but the 5tsff make the best Use of outside area available to them 50 children can play in and out. Play encourages language and communication in hildrÈn. THEMES FOR THEYEAR INCLUDED People who help us. Fire figniers. DentiSL Police. Bin men and Rec¥cling. Doctors, Hospitals and Ambulance. Sea Animals Bug hunts. Beach, mud kitchen. Halliyween. Bonfire night, RerneMbran Day. Christmas, Chinese New Year. and many more. The children enjoyed dresstng up and craft themes and tsking part for all the themes.
