## **TRUSTEE'S ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE FATHER’S HOME CHURCH** **Introduc:on** : On behalf of the Trustees of The Father’s Home, we are pleased to present the annual report highligh;ng the church’s work within our community during the past year. Guided by our mission to love the people and worship God, we have witnessed a year of growth, outreach, and service to our local community. This report reflects the impact of our ministries, the dedica;on of our congrega;on, and the ways in which we con;nue to share God’s love through various ini;a;ves. **Our Mission** : At The Father’s Home Church, our mission remains steadfast: to love the people and worship God. We believe that these two key elements—loving one another and glorifying God through worship—are the founda;on of everything we do. Our ac;vi;es, ministries, and outreach programs are all designed to embody these values, serving both the spiritual and prac;cal needs of our community. We are a church without walls. ## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE** Throughout 2024, we con;nued to serve as a beacon of hope in the community through a variety of outreach programs, which include: 1. **Worship Ministry** : Our worship ministry con;nues to be the heart of our church life. In 2024, we have been blessed with regular and impacLul worship services that allow our congrega;on to come together for worship. We have seen increased par;cipa;on, with many members taking an ac;ve role in leading worship, prayer, and fellowship. The Father’s home con;nues to hold its Sunday morning worship service from its rental space at the upper space room at the Beefeaters Wolverhampton. Special services and events such as the bap;sm service held in collabora;on with Lovestokes church provided opportuni;es for our church family to deepen their worship experience, crea;ng moments of connec;on and spiritual growth. Our Christmas meal dinner was organised by volunteers from church, we had a great turn out, this event was open to all, members and non-members. It was a beau;ful opportunity to share a meal and have conversa;on with all who aRended. ## 2. **Children's Ministry (Kids Church):** The Kids Church has con;nued to be a vibrant and essen;al part of our ministry. Our dedicated children's leaders provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children to learn about God’s love through age-appropriate ac;vi;es, Bible lessons, and crea;ve worship. The growth in aRendance over the past year has been encouraging, and we are excited to see the younger genera;on develop a strong founda;on in their faith. Methods of teaching are always fun and educa;ve, ac;vi;es such as arts and craVs, colouring, singing and dance are encouraged in our kid’s church. ## 3. **Youth Club:** In 2024, we launched our Youth Club, a new ini;a;ve aimed at providing a safe space for teenagers to connect, grow, and explore their faith. The Youth Club has quickly become a popular place for young people in our community to socialize, enjoy fun ac;vi;es, Ou;ngs and engage in meaningful discussions about life, faith, and values. This new ministry has already had a significant impact, children of all abili;es are welcomed. We have successfully facilitated a youth club movie night and a day out bowling. We are grateful to our youth club leaders/volunteers. We look forward to expanding its reach in the coming year. ## 4. **Emergency Food Parcels:** The food bank service has seen a slight change in the way in which it offers its services. In January 2024 the Father’s Home food bank stopped opera;ng from its physical loca;on which was previously located at the Church of The Good Shepherd Lowhill Wolverhampton. We were able to offer emergency food parcels to few individuals and families faced with excep;onal circumstances. Although the food bank isn’t opera;ng at full capacity, when there is a need referral to our service or need iden;fied within the community, we help by providing food parcels. We have had no dona;on or funding towards the works of the food bank service in the last year. ## **5. Volunteering:** Our volunteers con;nue to remain an important part of the charity, they contribute their ;me and skills in moving the charity forward. As a charity we con;nue to adhere to safeguarding policies to keep our children and most vulnerable safe. We ensure all our kids church and youth club volunteers are dbs checked. Most of our volunteers in this department are qualified teachers, teaching assistants and SEN teachers. ## 6. **Financial Stewardship:** We are grateful for the ongoing support of our congrega;on and community. In 2024, we have con;nued to steward the financial resources entrusted to us with care and integrity. Funds raised have been used to maintain our facili;es and enhance our worship services. Support our outreach programs such as our contribu;on suppor;ng the works of other chari;es like Embrace Outreach (formerly Embrace All) as they aim to relieve the needs of people living with a disability/poverty in Nigeria and WOW (Word of Worth) as they support women in Ugandan faced with poverty, helping them develop useful skill to become more self-sufficient. We are commiRed to ensuring that every contribu;on—whether of ;me, talent, or treasure— is used to further our mission and the work of the kingdom. Through our umbrella body Skylark Interna;onal, the Father’s Home con;nues to receive immense support in the way of leadership training, mentorship, counselling, advice and pastoral guidance. ## **Structure Governance and Management** Governing Document ## **CIO - Founda:on Registered 02 Oct 2018** ## **Charitable Objects** The object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, to advance the Chris;an faith in Wolverhampton and such other parts of the world as the charity trustees may from ;me to ;me think fit. ## **Recruitment and appointment of new trustees** Mrs. Rosemary Egerton was appointed as a member of the board of trustees in September 2023. Mrs. Queensley Ojo was appointed as a member of the board of trustees in March 2024. Mrs. Ingrid Nuara has stepped down from being chair of the board of trustees, this will be effec;ve start February 2025, when the 4 weeks’ no;ce lapses. She remains a valuable member of the board of trustees. Mrs. Raj Hare resigned has board of trustees in April 2024. We look forward to the con;nued growth of our ministries, especially the Kids Church and Youth Club, and are eager to explore new ways to support and nurture our community. We also plan to expand our outreach efforts, par;cularly through our ministry and other services, ensuring that we meet the needs of those who are in need. **Conclusion** : The Father’s Home Church has made significant strides in its mission over the past years, and we are immensely grateful for the dedica;on of our congrega;on and volunteers who make this work possible.
