## **Annual Report for financial year 1/10/21 to 30/09/22** 

## **Charity Name:  The Sunshine Centre Connecting Communities 1180150** 

The principal charity in this group is the Sunshine Centre (charity number 112335) and was registered  in circa 1998 The charity celebrated its 25[th] celebrated its twenty fifth anniversary in September of this year. 

In 2018 the Trustees and Directors decided to restructure and registered Sunshine Centre Childcare and Sunshine Centre Connecting  Communities to enable the activities to be split between the three different service activities 

The restructuring plan has never been taken forward and the Childcare and Connecting Communities  charities have remained **fully dormant** with no changes being made to the existing activities to the current date. I am unaware why this is the case as I only joined the charity in 2022. 

The value and purpose of retaining the dormant charities will be debated by the board in 2024 to consider whether to close them down or retrain for some form of future use.
