Artlvltles and objertlves In the year The objettives of the charity are the advancement and relief of poverty for girls and local communities living in rural Africa via education. in particular but not exclusively bv.. bullding schools in rural Africa. implementin8 functional literacy programmes in local communities, teaching 8ir15 a trade in schools in order to support self-reliance, educating Birls iri sexual health and family planning: and providin8 continuous professional development training for all teaching staff by creating partnerships with teachers and xhools in the UK and Afrlca. The objectives for the year were to continue the work of the charity by donations to a sister charitable organisation in Nigeria through which locally based employees could be recruited. Achlevements and performance The charity has not operated either in Nigeria or the UK during the year covered by this report. Publlc benefit In setting our activitles and objectives the year we have regard to both the Charlty Commisslon's eneral guidance on public benefit and prevention and relief of poverty for the public benefit. The trustees always ensure that the pro8rammes we undertake are in line with our tharitèble objerts and aims. Flnanclal revlew As of 151 June 2023. the charity held unrestricted reserves of £55 as cash. The charity does not hold any fvnds as a custodian trustee.
