Over the past 12 months (April 2023 – March
2024) INCC has:
● Secured its first Nature Reserve –
Llwyndewi Farm Nature Reserve,
covering almost 60ha of meadow, marsh,
woodland, scree and scrub habitat.
● Delivered 20 educational talks to
numerous groups and organisations
about nature conservation and the work
of INCC.
● Worked with over 50 volunteers – taking
part in practical habitat management for
a range of species and habitats.
● Worked with 30 different landowners -
These range from species specific
conservation on private
farmland/woodland, to managing whole
farm habitat restorations. This includes

work on farmland birds, particularly
Yellowhammer in the Vale of Glamorgan.
● Delivered 9 school / children’s group
conservation activities - including
hedgehog box making sessions, house
martin conservation and Marsh Fritillary.
● Delivered 20 volunteer events – mainly
focused on our landscape restoration
work around the Amman Valley
(Carmarthenshire), and our Marsh
Fritillary reinforcement (Llantrisant).
Other major volunteer events involve
working closely with Bridgend College
students at our farm restoration project,
Cefn Garthenor (Ceredigion).
● Delivered 2 training days – For Water vole
and Marsh Fritillary conservation.
● Written 6 informative articles – for various
media, and covering topics such as
nature reserves, House Martins and
Yellowhammer.
● Written 3 press release to help inform
supporters of the work of INCC and our
conservation projects.
● Given 2 radio interviews / segments
● Given 2 TV interview / segment

Financial Review

Review of the charity’s Para 1.21 At the end of the period INCC had cash
financial position at the end assets totalling £72,335, of which £33,997
of the period was restricted grants and donations, and
£38,338 was unrestricted funds and
reserves (£27,890).
Total income for the period was £95,337, of
which £52,776 was from restricted grants
and donations, £24,825 Natur Cymru
magazine and INCC supporter scheme
income, £14,540 from consultancy services,
and £2,958 from unrestricted donations.
Total spending during the reporting period
was £73,328 of which £32,435 was
restricted grant expenditure, £20,270 was
Natur Cymru and Supporter Scheme
running costs, £15,426 was core costs and
project delivery e.g. staff costs, and £5,197
was consultancy services expenditure.
NC is in a secure financial position, with
income from restricted grant funding up
approximately 50% on the previous financial
year, and with unrestricted income to
support additional charitable activities not
covered by grant funding. INCC’s reserves
and increased income has allowed the
delivery team to grow this year.
