5. In making the decisions regarding the preparations for the comrnentement of operatbons. the
trustees had re8ard to the Charity Commission's public benefit guidance when exerclsin8 th•r
powers and dutles and plannlng the future èrtivities of CYP and the p¢>sslble provlslon of a youth
worker for the benefit of the youn8 people in the area.

6. CYP was dorniant durin8 the perlod and thereafter pendlng suth tlme as the trustees of Co88eshall
Prentlce Youth Work Trust (Registered Charity Number: 1114176} decided it was appropriate to
transfer the actlvlties and assets of Cogge5haU Prentice Youth Work Tru51 to CYP.
7. The a¢￿Unts for CYP for the period ending 31 December 2024 therefore show no turnover or
expendlture and an amount of £5￿) In its Metro Bank account reflettin8 a donation received in a
prlor perlod.
8. Certain steps were bein8 taken to pro8ress the commencement of operation5 for CYP. The approval
of the Charity Commission to effect the transfer of ass￿$ from Coggeshall Prentice Youth Work
Trust to CYP had already been obtained in addition to the approvals of the then CIPT and CYP
trustees.
9. The trustees of Coggeshall Prentke Y¢MJth Work Tn￿ had considered the transfer of all its artivlties
assets to CYP slnce 2019. until the cessalion of actlvliles In 2023 it has been decided to continue
operating through the unlncorporated tharity trust or8anlsath)n. CPYWT.
10. CYP had not commenced its tharltable actlvltles through youth work operatlons durln8 the perlod.
CPWWT Is expected to finally d05e as an entity in late October 2025.
