2. The CIO'S 8overning docLJment Is dated 19 May 2018 and Is based upon the Charity
Commission model constitution for a charltable Incorporated organisation ICIOI:
foundatlon model.
3. The trustees are appointed In accordance with the constitution. All trustees have
completed thelr DBS checks and slgned the appropriate declaratlons.
4. The oblectlves of the CIO are to advance the educatlon of youn8 people In
Coggeshall and the surroundlng area In such ways so as to enable them throu8h thelr
leisure tlme artivitles to develop their physlcal. mental and splrltual capaclty so that
they may grow to full maturity as individuals and responslble members of soclety, in
partlculai. but not exclusively, by the provlslon of a Youth Worker to undertake
Christian youth work in local schools, local churches, and the local communlty.
5. In makin8 the decislons f e8ardln8 the preparations for the commencement of
operat10115. the trustees have had ie8ard to the Charity Commission's public benefit
8uidance when exerclsin8 their powers and duties. In particular when planning the
future activities of the CIO and provision of a youth worker for the benefit of the
youn8 people In the area.

6. The CIO is not currently conductln8 actlvliles pendlng such tlme as the trustees of
Cog8eshall Prentice Youth Work Trust IRe81Stered Charity Number: 11141761 declde
It is appropriate to transfer the asset5 of Co88eshall Prentlce Youth Work Trust to
the CIO.
7. Certain steps have been taken to progress the commencement of operations for the
CIO. In particular the approval of the Charity Comml551on to effect the transfer of
assets from Co88eshall Prentlce Youth Work Trust to the CIO has been obtained.
8. The trustees of Cog8esh311 Prentice Youth Work Trust have considered the transfer
of all Its a55et to the CIO, but at present it has been decided to continue operatln8
throu8h the unincorporated charity. Co88eshall Prentlce Youth Work Trust Is
piesently reviewing its future activities.
9. There were no financial tran53rtions duriDg the year.
