The charity's main activity is through its MAVES committee (Mid Arun Valley Environmental Survey). MAVES commissions and carries out: ecological research; practical projects for conservation enhancement and enjoyment of the natural environment; educational talks and walks and community engagement projects. |

Para 1.20 | The charity has not been active in terms of either fundraising or expenditure during this period dominated by the pandemic. The Trustees have considered strategic threats to our area of benefit, notably the Arundel Bypass Grey Route proposals which would mean ecological severance of our usual main area of activity. The Bypass proposals are now due to come to Statutory Consultation in Jan-March 2022, and the outcome of the Development Consent Order process, one way or the other, will significantly impact the charity’s future work. |
