ActNe8 Cyprus-year End July 31X 2024 TRUSTEE'S REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31ST JULY 2024 Summary of the objerts of the charity The charity exists for the public benefit to promote humane behaviour towards animals in Cyprus. and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals. in particular but not exclusively by: al Operating an animal shelter in Cyprus providing facilities for the receptlon and appropriate care, protertion. treatment and security of animals which are in need of care and attention by reasons of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage; bl The provision of equipment or grants of financial assistance to organi5ations whom the trustees consider to be making a significant contribution to animal welfare in Cyprus through rehabilitation, rescue andlor veterinary care and the provision of spay and neuter campaigns, microchip programs and educational and awareness programs. c} Reporting transgressions in the law on animal welfare to the relevant authorities in Cyprus. AaNè8 Cyprus-year EndJu￿1 3151 2024 Summary of the charity's main achlevements in the period The Charity found a number of challenges, but continue to support the Cat TNR spay program with various Lone Rescues and support in Spay/Neiuter of Dogs We concentrated on more animal abuse. discussions for the implementation of the laws, with local Stake holders and Competent Authorities. This involved meetin8S With various Minister5 and Cyprus Vet Services. We started a main Fundraising artivityto support one of the small Poundlshelters with raising £4000 to install secured fencin& so we can enhance the life quality of the stray dogs, with the ability of free exercise time These are some of the main points of 2024 l. We continued to formally arrange massive Cargo flights for the rehoming of dogs and cats, which let to 2(m dogs and cats being able to fly to their forever homes in Europe 2. We were involved in a number of abuse cases. and worked together with Vet Serwces and Animal Welfare in Cypws to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the dogs. This involved cooperation with Animal Rescue Or8anisations in Cyprus and the UK, to provide safe shelter and rehoming, required medical care and rehabilitation. 3. Regarding our Spay program. this was limited due to lower donations and the ability to raise an increase in donations for this Program, we successfully Spayed 21 Dogs, to vulnerable families who are mainly on State benefit. and to assist some Stray do8S found by lone rescuers, together with Microchip implanted by Vet Services of Cyprus, as well a5 22 Cats. We utilised our excess fundsto Spay so many dogs. 4. We have contirsued our dialogue with various stakeholders in Cyprus to enforce the Microchip program issued by Vet Services continues for individuals as well as Shelters benefit, advising Municipalitieslcommunities on their Legal responsibilities and care of Stray dogs, advising the general public on various matters of the Law. and attending meetings with Mr Kadis Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment and Various senior members of Cyprus Vet Services. We will continue to explore and develop our vision in Cyprus, and increase our fvndrai5ing, We have planned visits to Cyprus forthe forthcomingyear and creatin8 Partnerships to provide further care and assistance to local NGOS and Cat Colonies Page 3

Respectlve responsibilities of trustees and examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the Act'l. I report in respect of my examination of the chariws accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying Out my examination I have followed al the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5}(bl of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to mv attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the Act. or the accounts do not accord with those records I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
