|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|2023-24 has been another amazing year for<br>Buckingham Primary School PTA.<br>We completed the ambitious playground<br>equipment project, with a combination of<br>grants and fundraising funding the KS2 part<br>of the project. We now have fantastic play<br>equipment in both the KS1 and KS2 areas,<br>which should be used by hundreds of<br>children for many years to come. A really<br>legacy project.<br>From an events perspective, we held our<br>third Family Fun Day, which again raised<br>around £8,000 and was once again a hugely<br>popular day, welcoming families from<br>across Buckingham. We held two discos<br>this year, our annual Halloween disco, and<br>a very popular Glow disco for the first time<br>in Spring.<br>Since completing the KS2 play equipment,<br>we have been funding a number of<br>comparatively smaller items, based on our<br>staff wishlist, and our next major focus will<br>be the KS1 and KS2 courtyards, which we<br>look forward to helping with in the coming<br>year!|



## **Financial Review**

An<br>amazing fundraiser as well as a wonderful<br>community event.<br>Frozen Fridays raised £1,223! Always a<br>popular fundraiser for the children.<br>Additional Summer events raised £839! This<br>included sports day refreshments (£231),<br>plant sale (£190), end of term treats and<br>Nursery event (£208) Year 6 end of term<br>performance<br>(£114)<br>and<br>marathon<br>sponsorship (£95).<br>Easter activities raised £970! With the raffle<br>(£639), cookie sale (£246) and bonnet<br>competition (£85), again bringing so much<br>fun whilst fundraising successfully!<br>Neon disco raised a brilliant £1,640!<br>Christmas activities raised £3,807! With<br>great success in the raffle(£1,328),Santa|

|||Fun<br>Run<br>refreshments<br>(£855)<br>and<br>sponsorship £632. Further, the Santa Float<br>outside Tesco (£360), Christmas Cards<br>(£314), Year 6 performance refreshments<br>(£166) Parade (£83) and Guess the Sprouts<br>(£68).<br>We saw great success from the Halloween<br>events; Freaky Friday (£235) and the<br>Halloween Disco (£854)!<br>We were successful in Fairhive (£8,000),<br>Tesco blue tokens (£1,500) and Warburtons<br>(£400) grants – all to support our outdoor<br>spaces projects!<br>Our Bonus Ball Lottery ended the year with<br>£704 profit! We paid out 18 winning bonus<br>balls in the school year and had a few more<br>winners donating their £20 back to the<br>school.<br>Second hand uniform ended the year on<br>£798. A brilliant service for our school<br>community, supporting sustainability and a<br>great fundraiser.|
