People who<br>have attended functions have spoken<br>favourably about the VH, parishioners and<br>others alike.|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|During the year from April 24 – April 25 a<br>number of events were held at the village hall<br>which were well attended by residents and<br>others.<br>They include:<br>Childrens parties (hosted by Parents)<br>Young Farmers Club evenings<br>Company Meetings<br>Family & Wedding Anniversary parties<br>Church Services<br>Hen Party<br>Christmas Party<br>Wreath Making<br>Meetings – both Trustee and Volunteer<br>The charity has included the Parish and the<br>wider community in various activities and has<br>included those who are aged, infirm or disabled.<br>It has also promoted a sense of community &<br>development of individual<br>skills/competency/capability through<br>volunteering.<br>The VH is achieving its aims to people in the<br>Parish and also more widely.|

## **Financial Review** 

|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the end<br>of the period|Para 1.21|The Village Hall had income amounting to £ x and<br>payments amounting to £ x leaving net receipts of £<br>x<br>Wine, beer etc has already been bought, there is a<br>stock list, so any sale at an event over and above<br>what the cost was will add to profit.<br>Income:<br> The VH continues to enjoy SKDC Lottery<br>funding to the tune of around £7.50 / month<br>Expenditure:<br> apart from the alarm (£65), insurance<br>circa £510), electric (circa £390) we are still having<br>issues with Anglian Water. Command Pest Control<br>provided a figure of £120 for the year which the<br>Trustees have adopted. Cakes were baked by<br>volunteers for the wreath making. Other expenses<br>included general cleaning products and payments to<br>people who had purchased food stuffs.<br>The VH accounts are in a healthy position.<br>A Financial Summary is given to each Trustee every<br>time they meet and it is also emailed to them at<br>certain times of the year so that they are aware at all<br>times of expenditure and income.|
