We treat everyone differently in order to treat them equally, respecting the acts of Equality, diversity and Inclusion.

What We Believe
Inclusion is about people being fully included, to make people feel valued and respected irrespective of ethnicity, gender, disability, medical or other need, culture, age, religion, and sexual orientation. It is about giving equal access and opportunities, breaking down barriers and getting rid of discrimination and intolerance. We work with Youth and young ones, keeping their minds busy and getting them to stay away from crime.
Our activities are targeted at improving the lives of our members and volunteers. We engage them in physical and mental activities ranging from Trainings, workshops to field and indoor sporting activities. Our volunteers work as a team to transform lives. We drive innovation and change wherever it will benefit our youth and young ones.

What we achieved in 2019/2020
-
➢ ` Leaders of Tomorrow ‘Youth Empowerment/Educational Project, which was sponsored by the National Lottery Community Fund. Guest professional Speakers and mentors were invited to Discuss and enlighten our young ones on Topical discussions surrounding Healthy living, Communication Skills, working in a team It Literacy, Negotiation Skills, Presentation Skills, Confidence and Resilience, The project started in the month of December 2019 with 24 youth and young ones in attendance. The project was initially intended to be a 2 weekly(fortnightly), planned to be run over a six calendar months period, although We struggled a bit with the coordination after the sixth successful classroom session. We have had to make use of online platforms which includes Zoom, Skype meetings and video calls to engage our young stars since the end of March 2020 when the Covid-19 lockdowns took place. Thankfully concluded the project in the month of August 2020 with outstanding feedbacks from participants and their parents.
-
➢ Active Youth Zone provided Food support for our young individuals and their families during this period of pandemic, with the grant received from Forever Manchester. We see food as a staple and essential means for good well-being and mental health. We saw that many young people are in dire need of nutritional need, so we thought extra food support will be great, mainly because many of our youth and young people are used to family meals traditions as a way to keep connected the main family group. The food items and provisions were distributed among the residents of Moston, Blackley, Harpurhey, Middleton and Crumpsall in the North of Manchester.
-
➢ Over the last Seven months (Since March 2020 till date),We have provided a listening and talk supports with those reaching out to our Charity, explaining their individual and family needs, worries and in many cases feelings of depression and mental instability due to pressure of dealing with the effects of Covid-19.
Our Strategic Goals
In the coming year, we aim to achieve 3 key strategic goals which include.
-
➢ To create a more cordial relationship between our young ones (the new generation) and the elderly (the old school) in our community. This dream brings about smoother relationship between these two special generations and it will go a long way in boosting knowledge and historical experience.
-
➢ To improve the availability and sharing of information to parents and grandparents.
-
➢ To work in partnership with other organisations, providing resources and opportunities for our young people and young adults.
Reserves policy
The trustees take a risk-based approach to identify the appropriate level of reserves that are required to be held that will give our partners and stakeholders confidence that the organisation is financially sound and at the same time satisfactorily carry out the planned activities and to fulfil all contractual, statutory and legal obligations. The level of required level of reserve is set annually. In October 2019, the trustees resolved that the charity would maintain a minimum of £5,000 in unrestricted reserves.
