**Present:** Kelly P, Keeley B, Viren, Lenny, Hina, Charlene, Suzanne, Louise, Elaine, Charlotte 

**Apologies:** Diane, John and Chris. 

**Absent messages:** Sandra Yardley messaged ahead of AGM as unable to attend for personal reasons but supplied votes ahead. 

Sunday 8[th] October 2023 – Meeting Opened at 6.30pm 

## **Welcome:** 

Introductions given from all present. 

## **Finances:** 

These were read out and all agreed, ready to be uploaded. Many thanks to Elaine for presenting these. 

## **Information;** 

Keeley’s role ahead will be changing within the charity due to funding bid received, this will be discussed further in trustee meeting following. 

## **Year Ahead:** 

Keeley has expressed her thanks to all that are involved with JHJH and is grateful for all the time people volunteer. 

With new trustees being brought on board with a multitude of skills we are hoping to progress into a better sleeker organized place within the community. Volunteers have changed over the year, but we have a lot of the original team still active, bringing familiarity to the charity. Keeley has ordered fundraising buckets and with the help of Louise the label designs have been completed. 

Suzanne has secured a funding bid from Kent Police for £12,000 which is for safety equipment (personal alarms, cameras for houses) and for 4 laptops. Suzanne’s bid writing has been such a great investment and has helped us move forward reaching goals and aims to supports ladies and families.

Keeley Nominated Charlotte W, as a trustee – 4 votes received and agreed. 

Keeley nominated Sandra to stand as chair (Sandra aware in advance of this) all present agreed. (voted by trustees, Keeley, Hina, Kelly,) 

Kelly nominated John N (CDS) as a trustee – 4 votes received and agreed 

## **Stepping down:** 

Kelly stepping down as trustee but still being active as secretary. 

Keeley stepping down as chair new role within charity to be confirmed. 

## **Discussion:** 

Hina will be stepping down as trustee and treasurer moving forward as soon as new bank account set up and treasurer secured. (all agreed to this).
