## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

## **1. Christmas Events.** 

**Summary of the main** We raised funds and provided those in need a Christmas Hamper, each **achievements of the charity** of which is made up according to the individual needs of the recipients. **during the year** We provided Woking Borough Councils’ Meals on Wheel service ‘goody bags’ to be delivered with Christmas day meal to give those receiving their meal some extras and Christmas Cheer. 

**2** . **Annual Lions Martian Race** 

With the support of Horsell Runners, this initiative successfully raised funds to aid local primary schools and provided vital assistance to charities in Woking and the surrounding areas. 

## **3. Project Wenceslas** . 

In conjunction with the Citizen Advice Offices in Woking, Camberley and Addlestone, we receive donations from residents who can manage without their Government Fuel Allowance. 

In turn, the money is paid out by Citizen Advice offices to meet the cost of gas and electricity, direct to the supplier, for those who have insufficient money to pay their accounts. 

## **4. Air Ambulance (Eggstravaganza)** 

Raised money from Local pubs and organisation for support the Air Ambulance 

## **5. Support for Local Charities.** 

Donated money to Local Charities and Local Primary Schools for books
