## VANGUARD RESTORATION FOUNDATION 

CHAIRMANS’ REPORT 

This was another quiet year as we got our ducks in a row for the submission to Heritage Lottery Fund, which we know hope to do in February. We’ve been helped by experts in putting together the Expression of Interest after last year’s failure to get the desired result. 

Also, the lease and sublease for Vanguard Quay has been finalised and should be signed in the new year of 2026. 

Steve Herring and Harriet Roberts are new trustees and, as we reported last year, Ed Maggs has taken over as Treasurer 

2026 is likely to be much busier

TREASURER’S REPORT, YEAR ENDING 28 FEB 2025. 

The year saw 10 donations totalling £914.70, the most substantial of which was the £500 raised by the quiz night at the Three Horseshoes. 

Outgoings were a total of £198, all of which were accounted for by the charity’s subscription to Justgiving. Since only £4.70 was credited by Justgiving, I would recommend the Trustees consider whether the subscription is worth continuing, or whether it can be modified. 

The result is an increase in cash over the year from £4,660.34 to £5,377.04.
