Section C Objectives and activities
The objects of the CIO are

In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings. The Trustees are satisfied that the activities undertaken have all been for the public benefit.
The main activities were as follows:

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Moormead Community & Sports Pavilion’s fundraising efforts were successful with over £4,000 raised during the period. The majority of our expenditure for the year was focused on preparing the reports required for the Pavilion planning application.
The planning application was submitted on 30 November 2020.
In February 2021, Sport England objected to our planning application. By working with organisations such as the Football Foundation, parkrun, the LTA and Sport England, we succeeded in getting Sport England to withdraw its objection in October 2021.
